Our story

A company once took a chance on me with no background in the industry. I started as a presser and floater, and within 200 days I was made quality inspector.

I fell in love with the craft: careful hands, patience, and pride in every piece. I've put countless hours into self-study and practice, learning how garments are cared for in countries around the world to perfect my techniques for every kind of fabric.

I started Newbery Press Co. to bring that craftsmanship back, at prices every home can afford. Every piece is pressed with heart.

Questions

Do I need to be home?

Not for pickup. For delivery, meet us at the door during your slot, or choose contactless and we'll leave it in your covered spot with a photo as proof.

Do you dry clean?

No. Everything is washed cold or pressed only, following the care label. "Dry clean only" items can be steamed and pressed.

What if something needs my OK?

We'll text you and hold that item. No answer 2 hours before delivery? It comes back untouched and free of charge.

How do I pay?

Any card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Cash App Pay. We cover all card fees. Cash works too (our driver carries up to $25 in change).

How are you gentle on the earth?

Cold-water washing, fragrance-free starch, and a one-for-one loop of reusable bags, boxes, black wooden hangers, tissue, and ribbon.
